Pistol Silencers

CHOOSING YOUR AAC PISTOL SILENCER

MODULARITY

AAC's Ti-RANT 45M and Ti-RANT 9M offer a revolutionary new feature you may not even realize you need – versatility. Longer silencers maximize sound suppression, but at the cost of length and added weight. Shorter silencers favor weight and length reduction, but at the cost of sound suppression. Until modular silencers were introduced you'd have to pay a tax stamp for a long silencer and a separate tax stamp for a short silencer.

CONCENTRIC OR ECCENTRIC

Most pistol silencers on the market are concentric, with a bore axis located in the center of the silencer's tubular body. Seeing a regular sight picture over the body of the silencer requires the purchase of aftermarket "tall" suppressor sights for your pistol. An eccentric silencer, like AAC's ILLUSION 9, has the bore axis off-center, biased towards one edge of the silencer body.
